Royal warrants and honours for businesses, institutions or associations

In addition to individuals, the King may confer an honour on businesses, institutions or associations.

Organisations and businesses operating at national level may be granted the designation ‘Royal’, while small and medium-sized enterprises may be eligible for the designation ‘Purveyor to the Royal Household’.

The King may also award a Royal Medal of Honour to associations, foundations, institutions or sports clubs at local level in recognition of their services. Clubs or institutions may also be given the right to award a royal medal as a prize in a competition. Orange Associations may be given the right to fly an orange pennon.
