King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima took legal action in a number of cases because they believed their private life and that of their children had been infringed on.
The King and Queen feel that their children, like their peers, are entitled to an undisturbed and, as far as possible, normal childhood, and they are keen to protect their family from any undue invasion of their privacy.
