Surveillance and Protection Department

The Surveillance and Protection Department (DBB) protects the members of the Royal House, at home and abroad. The Department is also responsible for the protection of politicians and ambassadors.

The DBB is one of the nine services that make up the National Unit of the National Police. The service is responsible for the security of members of the Royal House, their guests and in some cases other diplomats and politicians.
