State visit to Ireland
His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima are to pay a state visit to Ireland at the invitation of President Michael D. Higgins. The visit will take place from 12 to 14 June.
The royal couple will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stef Blok. In parallel with the state visit, the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Sigrid Kaag, will head a trade mission to explore the potential for expanding economic ties between the Netherlands and Ireland.
