Queen Máxima taken ill during state visit to the People’s Republic of China (2)
Her Majesty Queen Máxima attended the state banquet on Monday 26 October, as part of the state visit to China.
The Queen became ill during the state visit and was diagnosed with pyelitis. She did not participate in other parts of the official state visit programme this afternoon and will not accompany the official party to the Loess Plateau tomorrow.
