Information update in connection with coronavirus

For some time now, measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) have led to the cancellation of many events that members of the Royal House would otherwise have attended.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are keeping informed of the impact of the coronavirus outbreak by means of telephone and video calls and – where possible – working visits. They have used these opportunities to express their support and appreciation for the efforts being made by so many to fight the pandemic.

During working visits by the royal couple, the measures put in place to curb the spread of the virus are strictly observed. For more information, see the Dutch measures to tackle coronavirus. These measures are being taken on the recommendation of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).

Working visits paid by members of the Royal House in connection with the coronavirus outbreak are being announced (in Dutch) on www.koninklijkhuis.nl after they have taken place.
