The Hague, 16 September 2025.

The Speech from the Throne is delivered during a Joint Session of the two Houses of the States General (the House of Representatives and the Senate). The Constitution stipulates that the speech must be delivered, but there are no constitutional requirements as to the order, length or subject matter, so these may vary from year to year.
